McCain’s VP Choice

Matt Lewis at Townhall.com points us to an article at the WSJ on McCain’s VP choices by Pat Toomey.
Noticeably absent from Toomey’s list is the man I predict McCain will choose: Fred Thompson.
They’re friends. They’re cordial. And Thompson is known well enough to conservatives as a conservative. To moderates and independents he’s not a huge liability factor. Hey, he’s a Hollywood guy after all.
